The local residency scheme is available to all residents who live within a 10-mile radius of Stansted Airport and are entitled to join the scheme, this will provide a reduced charge at the Express Set Down.

You can register for the local residency scheme here. You can register or amend your vehicle registrations here.

Once registered for the scheme, you can create an autopay account via Express Set Down – Stansted Airport which allows up to 200 vehicles to be registered. The discounted rate will apply to the vehicle registration once registered and payment for the Express Set Down will automatically deduct within 24 hours. 

Please note: Only 2 of the vehicles can be active for the local residency scheme at any one time and receive the discount.

Important: The Local Residency discount scheme and an autopay account are two seperate facilities, vehicles that are added to an autopay are not registered under the Local Residency discount scheme unless registered separately through the form above.
